immutable necessities. (Hey! Good book title.)
What are mine
(immuntable necessities)? Ironically, the two very basic things I absolutely
require to do my work are not present in the garage studio: aforementioned light... and warmth. Hence, no work gets done out there in winter. No more!
My new studio is now a pleasure to sit in. And that is what I'm doing on this first day of the
new year. YIPPEE!!!! Cushy contemplations in purple velvet chair.

Dinner Party" painting, depicting the farm house dinner at
La Gasqui, (southern France) in April 2010.
I love this stage of a painting, when the personalities start to emerge out of formlessness. The guestroom studio is working out well. Yeaa! I've realized that there's another benefit to the in-house space: I'm closer to the fridge!
